According to Insider, Alix Earle is the daughter of a wealthy New Jersey construction tycoon, Thomas "TJ" Earle. Her father is the CEO of Earle, a construction firm that holds expertise in building roads that were founded by her grandfather, Walter R Earle, back in 1968. The corporation boasts annual revenues of more than $24 million, according to the Athens Post. Since Earle stated on her LinkedIn page that she has worked as a marketing intern at Earle since 2020, it appears that the company is a family-run business.
Her best friend is another TikTok sensation
Fans of Alix Earle's social media profiles have probably discovered that she belongs to a big, close-knit circle of friends that she made while she was a student at the University of Miami. One of those friends, Xandra Pohl, whom she met just before beginning freshman year, is one of her closest. Pohl has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and a cool million on TikTok, proving that she is somewhat of a social media phenomenon in her own right. "We've been best friends since before freshman year even started," Pohl explained in an interview with E! News. She further added, "It's just been such a crazy experience going through it together and having a best friend that's been there with me all the way through it and I've been there with her."

Long before Alix Earle became well known as a social media influencer, Earle's father made news when it was revealed that he had been having an affair with Ashley Dupre back in 2008. Dupre is a former call girl. She has worked as a sex columnist for the New York Post and as a singer. She became a public figure when it was disclosed that she was the woman at the center of the then-Governor of New York Eliot Spitzer's prostitution scandal which eventually led to his resignation. Dupre and TJ were reportedly engaged and expecting a child in 2012, according to Page Six.
Mitchell Ansell, TJ's lawyer, argued that the couple's connection was neither scandalous nor even remotely scandalous. He said, "TJ and his wife divorced over a year ago. They divorced amicably. She has moved on, and he has moved on." He continued, "There's nothing scandalous. No one's running around." Following the birth of that child, in 2013 Earle and Dupre tied the knot, with the nuptials held in Paris. Since then, Dupre has held the role of Alix's stepmother.
