Road to the Knockouts is the first major promotion of the FC 24 Ultimate Team cycle. The promotion highlights players from clubs competing in UEFA competitions. Players are eligible for in-form upgrades depending on how those clubs perform in their respective competitions. There are cards available for the Champions League, Women's Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League.
The latest SBC is for Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos receiving a plus-five overall boost from 81 to 86 at launch. But, is it worth completing?

First off, this is a decent card on the surface. Good stats in key areas though the agility and balance for a defender is a bit lower than preferred. He also has the Anticipate PlayStyle which is great for tackling. But, the price attached doesn't make this card worth it. Yes, Aston Villa should be good for an upgrade or two in the Europa Conference League despite being last in its group currently. It will take some time to get those upgrades though considering the fixture schedule. It's likely better to save your coins or fodder for something else to come.
