Controversial TikToker 'Mizzy' blamed for disrupting Sidemen's charity match in 2022
Controversial TikToker Mizzy has been in the headlines recently, and now it’s been claimed that he was behind the disruptions to last year’s Sidemen charity match. The Sidemen were forced to apologise to people with tickets who weren’t able to get into the stadium for the Sidemen Charity Match on September 24. “Unfortunately however due to a small minority attempting to break into the stadium, we were forced to lock the gates meaning a number of you weren’t able to get in despite having tickets,” they said at the time. They said the choice to lock the gates and block some fans “was a security and safety decision.” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Now, Stuart Jones, who is the founder of Upload Agency and Sidemen's agent, has claimed that it was Mizzy who was responsible. Writing on Twitter, he said: “For those of you who were locked out of the @Sidemen charity match last year, this was the moron that caused it btw.” Jones also claimed that Mizzy, real name Bacari-Bronze O'Garro, stole Prime Hydration drinks from VIP suites and tried to break into the stadium. "Correct, and robbing the VIP suits of all the Prime, and running around outside, trying to break in, causing the stadium to lock down,” Jones wrote, replying to another user. Footage has also recirculated online which shows Mizzy run on the pitch during the game. Mizzy was recently arrested for filming himself walking into people's houses. He also branded Piers Morgan a 'moron' for challenging him over his behaviour on his show, which saw him intimidate members of the public, including stealing someone's dog in a park. Hours before this interview, O’Garro appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community protection notice issued last May. As a result he was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) today for a period of two years that will expire in May 2025. This order means O’Garro must not publish social media content without the consent of the people included, nor trespass or go to the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford. Elon Musk announces major Twitter logo change while playing a video game
Elon Musk has hinted that he will today be changing the Twitter logo from its iconic blue bird which has been synonymous with the website since its inception to a solitary 'X' symbol. Late on Saturday, July 22nd or early on July 23rd (depending on where in the world you are) Musk tweeted: "And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds." Shortly after this he added: "If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we'll make (it) go live worldwide tomorrow." Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter He also hinted at what the logo might look like in a short and dramatic video snippet that showed a flickering animated 'X' symbol with some over-the-top music accompanying it. The South Africian billionaire and former richest man in the world also joined a Twitter spaces audio chat and simply replied "Yes" when he was asked about the sudden logo change before adding that "it should have been done a long time ago." Attentive listener's on the audio call also noticed that when Musk made the announcement he was playing the video game Diablo IV. Twitter has previously called its blue bird logo "our most recognisable asset" but it remains to be seen how long the new logo change will last. In April of this year, the website's logo was briefly changed to the Dogecoin dog symbol. Twitter has experienced a tumultuous time since Musk took over in 2022 with the website blighted by a number of technical issues as Musk and his new team attempted to implement changes. This has since led to many users flocking to other similar sites such as BlueSky, Mastadon and Mark Zuckerberg's new venture Threads, which registered more than 70 million sign-ups in its first 48 hours. Dallas Cowboys' Trevon Diggs caught liking very inappropriate tweet
NFL star Trevon Diggs has added his name to the long list of people who have been caught liking very NSFW post on Twitter. The Dallas Cowboys cornerback attracted the attention of Twitter users after checking out explicit content, and it’s got people asking whether Diggs actually realises people can see his likes. The 24-year-old liked a post which featured a woman wearing an adult sex toy. It featured the caption: “Like = you’d suck it.” It’s not clear whether or not the post was liked accidentally or deliberately. Either way, it’s fair to say his interaction with the post sparked a big reaction online. He’s not the first and he won’t be the last to like Samuel L Jackson and Ted Cruz to name a few have been caught liking explicit posts before, with Jackson caught in 2022 and Cruz in 2017. Diggs is one of the star names for the Cowboys, having signed a five-year extension worth up to $100 million. He’s a two-time Pro Bowler with 17 interceptions in his three NFL seasons.
