The long-awaited release of Final Fantasy 16 is just around the corner, and people are psyched for it. It was first revealed in September 2020 and is the latest installment in the beloved JRPG franchise. A free demo for the game is now available on PlayStation 5, and it gives players a taste of Clive Rosefield’s epic tale on the hunt for those who killed his brother and father.

How Long is the Final Fantasy 16 Demo?
The demo of this JRPG is about 2-3 hours long. Of course, that time depends on how much you want to explore the environment and how long you take to defeat enemies.
In the first part of the demo, Clive and his crew come across the desolate town of Stillwind. Goblins have taken over the area, and you must clear them out. This snippet of the demo has a tutorial that introduces basic melee and magical combat. It also gets you accustomed to different aspects of the game, like gears, attack combos, attributes, and abilities.
After completing that part, you’ll unlock a later section of the game where Clive must infiltrate an enemy facility, defeat soldiers, and battle Bendikta, the Eikon Garuda leader. The second chapter of the demo is meant to expose the true potential of Clive’s powers. Unlike the first part of the demo, the second won’t carry over into the full game once purchased.
