The Tonfa Melee Weapon can only be unlocked by completing a specific challenge in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.
Warzone Season 4 features a range of rewards for players to obtain as they level up the free or BlackCell Battle Pass. In addition to new cosmetics, like the Nikto Operator, and Weapon Blueprints, there are three weapons launching with the update: the Tempus Razorback, ISO 45, and Tonfa Melee weapon.
Unlike the Tempus Razorback and the ISO 45, players cannot unlock the Tonfa in the latest Battle Pass.
How to Unlock Tonfa Melee Weapon in Warzone Season 4
Players can only unlock the Tonfa Melee weapon by completing the Assault on Vondel Event once Season 4 launches. The event rewards players with medals for each challenge they complete as they look to reclaim Vondel from Nikto's mercenaries.
As players collect medals, they can unlock rewards, including the Tonfa Melee weapon and "Lion's Share" Weapon Blueprint. Check out the full list of available rewards here.
According to the Call of Duty Staff, the Tonfa is both a defensive weapon and a "powerful tool for dealing devastating strikes" to opponents. The wooden baton is modeled after weapons used by warriors on the Japanese Ryukyu islands.
The Assault on Vondel Event begins on June 14 and lasts until July 7.
