After a slew of new weapons changes, fans want to know if the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle is back in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3.
The latest Fortnite update brought three jungle-themed POIs to the center of the map as part of a new vibrant biome. A major event destroyed Anvil Square and its surrounding areas, giving fans plenty of new terrain to explore as they level up the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass.
Fortnite WILDS also debuted five weapons at launch, and even unvaulted the fan-favorite Combat SMG. Now, in today's patch notes, Epic Games continued tweaking the meta by vaulting the Red-Eye Assault Rifle.

The MK-Alpha Assault Rifle is back in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. The weapon was unvaulted to compensate for the loss of the Red-Eye Assault Rifle.
The weapon is a downgrade from the Red-Eye in almost every way. The MK-Alpha's headshot damage is halved, and its reload time is a full second slower. The only real advantage the MK-Alpha has over the Red-Eye is its larger magazine size.
Players will mainly find the new gun in floor loot and chests, available in all rarities from Common to Legendary. There is also the chance Caches and Holo Chests will contain the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, and the weapon will be guaranteed Rare or higher.
