There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not Nintendo will have a Direct soon. The good news is that Nintendo recently confirmed that there will be one on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. We're hoping to see new titles, and here's what we think Nintendo has in store for us.
1. Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the famous 2006 PlayStation 2 role-playing game, was leaked on Atlus' official YouTube account.
A Twitter user named Faz discovered that Atlus' Youtube channel specifies that it'll come to Switch in the commercial's description but not in the advertisement itself.
Since then, Atlus removed Nintendo Switch from the description of the video. Nonetheless, fans of the Persona series are still hoping Person 2 Relaod will make it to the Switch. Who knows? They might get what they wish for come June 21.
2. Pikman 4
Nintendo hasn't kept the release of Pikman 4 a secret. It was first announced on Sept. 13 in 2022, and we got a refreshing taste of the adventure. Another trailer was released on June 6, 2023, showcasing new characters, updated graphics, and new game mechanics.
In this upcoming direct, we'll get more details on the action-adventure game. Maybe we'll see more in-depth gameplay, different enemies, combat abilities, and character customization options. It's set to release on July 21, 2023, making it the next biggest Nintendo Switch title after The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
3. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
The releases of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Lara Croft were a long time coming. Nintendo announced the titles in October 2021 for the series' 25th anniversary, and they were initially scheduled to release in 2022. Unfortunately, both releases got delayed to 2023.
Fans can finally enjoy both titles on Nintendo Switch soon. Hopefully, we'll see a glimpse of the puzzle adventure game during the Nintendo Direct. Either way, June 29 marks the release date for both titles, and they'll come as a pack in the Laura Croft Collection.
