Meghan Markle's Archetypes podcast premiered on Spotify in August 2022, featuring guests such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, and Mindy Kaling. Later, the digital music service removed the Duchess' show from its site after 12 episodes, alleging a failure to reach productivity targets.
The program has experienced a decline in popularity as well as some controversy. According to sources in the entertainment business, the Duchess of Sussex faked a number of interviews for her canceled Archetypes podcast. They allege that she had staff people on the show interview her guests before the audio of her voice was added to the final episodes.
'Some interviews were done by other staffers'
The accusations, which were made only days after it was disclosed that the Sussexes' $20 million arrangement with Spotify had been terminated in a "mutual agreement," were published by Podnews. "Multiple sources" allegedly stated that "some interviews on the show were done by other staffers, with [audio of 41-year-old Meghan's] questions edited-in afterward"; however, the outlet did not specifically name any episodes where this allegedly occurred.
Who is Farrah Safari?
Although Meghan spoke with a number of very well-known guests for the audio program, concerns have previously been made about her role in the interviews of other Archetypes guests. Journalist Allison Yarrow, a guest on the podcast, admitted that she had really spoken to a representative of Meghan's production firm instead of the former actress during her interview for the show in August of last year. In a social media post published soon after her interview was captured, Allison, who guest-starred on the episode To 'B' or not to 'B'? in which she "explored the origin and plague" of the word b***h, said the conversation she had with an audio producer named Farrah Safari. The journo thanked Farrah for being such an "excellent interviewer" in the caption of a photo she posted of herself in front of a sign for the audio production business Gimlet.

Her most recent project is Archetypes with host Meghan. Safari graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a B.A. in literature and sociology before beginning her career as a producer.
