Dr. Mohr’s current affiliations bring substantial experience to the position. He is the Director for the Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies, Chief of Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Preventive Medicine, and Professor of Preventive Medicine (Behavioral Medicine), Medical Social Sciences and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Mohr also works to progress the field of digital mental health as a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and president of the Society for Digital Mental Health (SDMH).
Dr. Mohr’s interest in the remote delivery of mental health spans more than two decades. His academic and research work focuses on the design and implementation of sustainable and integratable digital mental health treatments that incorporate patient-centered design processes and stakeholder input. This work started at the University of Arizona at Tucson where his interest in the remote delivery of mental health explored ways to deliver phone and internet-based treatments to Native Americans who couldn't come into the clinic.
