The lawyers acting for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried have told a magistrate judge that he can’t adequately prepare for trial in six weeks as he’s living on bread, water and peanut butter. Lawyers on Tuesday (August 22) claimed that he won’t be ready for the trial without proper access to computers and necessary medications to help him concentrate. The comments came at a Manhattan federal court hearing after Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty to seven charges including wire fraud and multiple conspiracy counts he’s set to face at his October 3 trial. Attorney Mark Cohen told Netburn that Bankman-Fried hadn't received medication that's necessary for him to focus since he was sent to jail on Aug. 12. He said his client continued to be served a “flesh diet,” leaving him to rely solely on bread, water and sometimes peanut butter. “Your Honor, that’s outrageous and needs to be remedied,” he said of a man who had shuffled into the courtroom, his legs shackled. Another defense attorney, Christian Everdell, told Netburn that Bankman-Fried was being denied the right to adequately prepare for trial because he was only allowed to review millions of pages of evidence two days a week. “There is no way for him to effectively prepare for his defense,” Everdell said. Bankman-Fried is the founder of failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX. He was charged with "one of the biggest financial frauds in US history" last year by US authorities. iShowSpeed has been in the news an awful lot recently and he’s one of the most popular streamers on the internet. So popular, in fact, that an impersonator is racking up millions of views by showing his old streams. An IShowSpeed fan account has been posting screenshots from the account, which is restreaming old content. The old streams were being picked up by plenty of fans, too. One grab showed that more than 18,000 concurrent viewers were tuning into old footage of the streamer playing Roblox. Other restreams have also been flagged by fan pages recirculating old footage. IShowSpeed hasn’t responded to the old streams yet, though – and at the moment, he’s probably got other things on his mind. The 18-year-old ended a recent stream suddenly after accidentally exposing himself to fans live on air last week. The hugely popular figure was broadcasting to 24,000 people when he accidentally flashed the camera, looking shocked after realising what he’d done instantly. The streamer, real name Darren Watkins stood up, showing his crotch, not realising that his penis was exposed The streamer has since returned to the platform and addressed the "embarrassing moment," and how it's impacted him mentally. "These past days and hours, I've been suffering very mentally, genuinely," he told viewers. "At the end of the day, I'm still a human being." He said it was "one of the worst fears" that has happened and that it's "just depressing." "You guys are joking, you guys can crack your jokes – but you're genuinely not looking a the bigger picture," he said. "Do you all know I have family, little siblings?" NFL star Trevon Diggs has added his name to the long list of people who have been caught liking very NSFW post on Twitter. The Dallas Cowboys cornerback attracted the attention of Twitter users after checking out explicit content, and it’s got people asking whether Diggs actually realises people can see his likes. The 24-year-old liked a post which featured a woman wearing an adult sex toy. It featured the caption: “Like = you’d suck it.” It’s not clear whether or not the post was liked accidentally or deliberately. Either way, it’s fair to say his interaction with the post sparked a big reaction online. He’s not the first and he won’t be the last to like Samuel L Jackson and Ted Cruz to name a few have been caught liking explicit posts before, with Jackson caught in 2022 and Cruz in 2017. Diggs is one of the star names for the Cowboys, having signed a five-year extension worth up to $100 million. He’s a two-time Pro Bowler with 17 interceptions in his three NFL seasons.
